Benoit Schlosberg

 

  Born in 1954, Benoît Schlosberg shared his childhood between New York, Paris and Rome. He began learning music very early (guitar), notably with Alexandre Lagoya in Paris, and took dance lessons in the class of Jean Pierre Bonnefous. He continued his musical education with Angelo Ferraro in Rome.
Back in Paris in 1972, he perfected his studies with Master Alberto Ponce at the Ecole Normale de Musique. He studies harmony with Jeanine Rueff.
Winner of the Yehudi Menuhin Foundation, he was selected to participate in the "Pléïade" project directed by the composer Gabriel Yared.
He is part of a generation of musicians who knows how to mix the most diverse genres and it is with a concern for authenticity that he has always endeavored to unite in their common essence the "popular" song and the form "classic".

He directed the Conservatories of Epinay sur Seine, Ville d'Avray as well as the Niedermeyer Conservatory of Issy-les-Moulineaux where he developed an educational project centered on artistic performance and the stage.
